SHOES THAT FIT LAUNCHES ITS 20th ANNUAL BACKPACK CAMPAIGN TO HELP LOCAL CHILDREN

Shoes That Fit is proud to announce the launch of its 20th Annual Back-to-School Backpack Campaign for Summer 2025. This year, we’re simplifying our efforts to focus solely on what kids really need—a new pair of athletic shoes and socks. This campaign is for communities local to Claremont, CA. Schools and districts have already been preselected.
With the rising cost of living and ongoing economic uncertainty, many families are struggling to afford even the most basic necessities. A pair of properly fitting athletic shoes can make a world of difference for a child—boosting confidence, encouraging physical activity, and helping them fully engage in school. This campaign helps alleviate a financial burden for parents while ensuring children start the school year with the dignity and comfort they deserve.
Since 2005, Shoes That Fit has supported over 6,500 students across surrounding school districts by providing brand-new sneakers and backpacks filled with school supplies. In 2025, our goal is to fill 400 backpacks with brand-new athletic shoes and socks for children in need.
To achieve this, we’re partnering with local businesses, community groups, and volunteers. Participating organizations consistently share how rewarding it is to engage their customers and colleagues in a cause that directly supports kids in their community.
