AdventHealth Ottawa and the AdventHealth Ottawa Foundation (just to be clear, that’s Ottawa, Kansas, not Ottawa in Canada), joined forces with Shoes That Fit to bring new shoes to seven schools in Franklin county.
Altogether, they provided new shoes to 1,140 children. And they didn’t stop there! They also gave five pairs of socks per child, to make sure they had enough for Monday through Friday.
On February 23, when Lincoln Elementary school students opened their new shoes, they also got a visit from KC Wolf to celebrate the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win!
