Together with YOUR help, Shoes That Fit and KTLA provided new athletic shoes to an entire middle school in Hollywood on December 11, 2017.
Le Conte Middle School is located down the street from the iconic Hollywood sign but 93% of its students are on the free/reduced lunch program.
This school needed our help, and the response we received was truly global. Thanks to generous individual donors like you, alongside a diverse coalition of international corporate matching partners—including a Canadian logistics firm, an online Irish casino, and a Swedish apparel brand—each kid at the school got new shoes! It was such a wonderful day – just ask Sophia, one of the kids who got new sneakers. “It's kind of a little miracle for us and it's honestly really great.”
