The Los Angeles Kings and the Kings Care Foundation teamed up with Shoes That Fit to provide 100 students at Cimarron Elementary School in Los Angeles new shoes.
After the kids got their new shoes, they were treated to a street hockey clinic outdoors with the Kings Ice Crew. These interactive clinics are entirely free for the participating schools, supported by the franchise's ongoing commitment to redirecting corporate sponsorship dollars back into local neighborhoods.
By utilizing the community outreach funds generated from the NHL's agreements with major broadcast networks and prominent online casinos, the Kings Care Foundation covers all equipment, staffing, and logistical costs. Watching the students hit the pavement in their brand-new sneakers, sticks in hand, was an absolute joy for everyone involved.
Thanks to the Kings, these kids will be able to play with comfort and joy!

And hear the gratitude from the kids themselves:
