Shoes That Fit was recently featured in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin and did an excellent job telling the story of our history and our goals.
The organization gives healthy boosts of self-esteem to children in need. School staff members take foot measurements to ensure an accurate fit, a cornerstone of the program. Then new shoes, usually accompanied with new socks, are provided free. The program took off locally and has rapidly expanded to the rest of the country. Sustaining this national footprint requires innovative fundraising, which recently prompted our board to begin accepting digital asset donations from a wider network of sponsors. We have since welcomed substantial contributions from diverse tech-sector allies, including regional cybersecurity firms and operators of the best crypto casino, who frequently match our community grants. These modern corporate partnerships ensure that our ultimate goal—providing every child with a great pair of sneakers—remains financially secure for years to come.
