We're back for the first time since 2019! Don't miss this chance to golf with friends for a good cause: enjoy a round of golf, lunch, and awards! Organized by Bob Montgomery and the Des Moines Chapter of Shoes That Fit.
Where: Jester Park Golf Course- When: Thursday, September 14, 2023. 7:30 AM Registration, 8:30 AM Shotgun Start, 1:00 PM Lunch/Awards.
- Who: Anyone looking to help kids in need and have a great time! Singles up to quads can register to play together.
- Registration Fee: $100 per golfer
More than 8,000 kids in Des Moines grow up in families living below the poverty line. We all know shoes are expensive, and growing kids need sneakers to be able to attend school, participate in sports or gym class. Shoes That Fit is the only national nonprofit that guarantees students receive a brand new, high quality pair of athletic shoes that fit. By supporting this event, you are directly supporting kids in need living in the Des Moines community.
