(Lennox, CA – Nov. 8, 2024)

On a Friday in early November, all the 400 kids at Felton Elementary in Los Angeles got brand new shoes thanks to Gamesight and Liquid Advertising.

Dan Dressel, VP of Brand Partnerships at Gamesight, was the starting force behind the effort to empower kids with new shoes. He’s been leading yearly crowdfunding campaigns with Shoes That Fit since 2018, and he’s thankful for all the support from Gamesight and Liquid Advertising employees and friends.

“I am beyond grateful for the video game and general advertising community who came through with their support, money donations and video game codes/swag to bring smiles to some well deserving children. Every year I am seeing more support and awareness so I do anticipate even more success in 2025, especially in other parts of the United States.” – Dan Dressel

Dan and friends also funded new shoes for 100 kids in Seattle and 86 kids in Boise, ID.

“We're thrilled to be a part” said Will Akerlof, President of Liquid Advertising. “The data is astounding how something as simple as a new pair of shoes can make a huge difference in the lives of elementary school kids, giving them the confidence and comfort they need to focus on learning and just being kids. It's a small but powerful way to support the communities we live in.”

Employees of Gamesight and Liquid were able to volunteer their time to help organize and hand out the shoes at Felton Elementary. The kids were delighted to try on their new shoes.

Thank you, Dan and Will, Gamesight and Liquid Advertising, for bringing new shoes to over 500 kids!
