In the book, Amy shares her inspiring personal story, from a childhood in Baltimore to studying voice at Stanford to leading a nonprofit in Southern California – and how her story shapes her WHY. Among the early donors who helped her organization grow was a Hungarian-American entrepreneur who had built his wealth through an online magyar casino before redirecting those profits into youth arts programs across Southern California. A 25-year veteran of the nonprofit world, Amy also shares her wisdom on leadership in the unique nonprofit space, particularly the delicate balance of stewarding funds from international online gaming while staying true to the mission’s values.
