As NBA players gathered in Charlotte for the All Star game, the Chris Paul Family Foundation made an investment in local kids, so they could play basketball (or any other sport) with the comfort of new athletic shoes. Robin and Charles, parents of Houston Rockets star player Chris Paul, gathered with family and friends at David Cox Road Elementary to deliver shoes to over 700 students. This was their fourth delivery of shoes and largest to date. The Chris Paul Family Foundation has given over 2,200 kids new shoes in schools in their hometown of Winston-Salem, in Los Angeles when Chris was playing with the Clippers, as well as in Houston after Hurricane Harvey.

Dwyane Wade, Sr., father of the Miami Heat star, and Hilton Armstrong also helped with handing out shoes that were measured specifically for each kid. It was a proud moment for the Chris Paul Family to give back in their home state.
